Position Description Summary
The HRIS Analyst is responsible for analyzing and tracking HRIS data as well as developing and creating company reports. This person will oversee the day-to-day administration and maintenance of HRIS systems.
•Utilize HRIS tools as necessary to provide, track and maintain data
•Work with the payroll team, to ensure accurate payroll processing and accurate documentation of employee records
•Create and send reports to company stakeholders.
•Work with system Vendors to pull reports and make necessary changes in vendor’s system
•Follows the policies and procedures governing employee data entry and approvals and ensures changes to employee records are made in a timely and accurate manner.
•Assists with updating and maintaining forms, policies and procedures and creating process guides and other reference materials for employee training.
•Oversee data entry of new hire and employee changes in HR systems
•Provides HRIS data support for various HR functions such as Payroll, Recruitment, Benefits, Employee Relations, etc.
•Assist with documenting HRIS procedures and guidelines
•Oversee HR systems to help identify areas of improvement in business and system processes
•Participate in, and occasionally lead, a wide range of special projects
Knowledge and Skills
•Holds either a post-secondary diploma or degree in Business or Human Resource OR an equivalent post-secondary degree
•Minimum of 1 to 3 years of Recruiting or Human Resources’ experience in a fast-paced organization is strongly preferred
•Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to foster strong working relationships with Managers and Human Resource Business Partners
•Proven ability to multi-task and manage several priorities while meeting multiple, tight deadlines
•Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
•Knowledge of HR policies and best practices with the ability to handle confidential information
•Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) as well as experience using Microsoft Visio and PeopleSoft
•Possessing the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation is considered an asset
•Maintain high level of confidentiality based upon data integrity
