Position Description Summary

Responsible for coordinating the movement of air freight to and from the local airport to domestic and international destinations as well as providing an exceptional level of customer service to key account(s).

Principal Accountabilities

  • Prepares accurate airfreight import documents 
  • Proactively and positively interacts with client(s) to ensure correct and timely transactional requirements of their account(s)
  • Proactively and positively interacts with management, peers, subordinates, and colleagues at various Schenker divisions
  • Enhanced Customer Service levels sustained to ensure customer retention
  • Complies with ISO Standard Operating Procedures and the instructions of one’s supervisor or manager
  • May be required to work at client site 
  • Other Duties as required

Knowledge and Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Air Freight Forwarding operations
  • Experience in sales/customer service with key account(s) an asset
  • Advanced computer skills (Excel – Word – PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
  • Individual accountability while working well in a Team environment
  • Must pass relevant government, airport, or company-required background checks, clearances, and/or tests
